The Hong Kong Club

The Hong Kong Club in Jackson Road boasts an array of sport and recreational facilities to complement the various restaurants and bars for which the Club is possibly better known.

Illustrated here are the newly installed automated bowling lanes and billiards hall together with the fitness centre overlooking Statue Square. Each in its own way retains the feeling and warmth of the Club without compromising specific function.

Probably the most demanding technical challenge was the need to acoustically isolate each activity from adjacent, more sedentary functions in the Club and adjacent offices.

This is achieved with floating floors, sound attenuating partitions and acoustically absorbent wall and ceiling panels, and finishes.
