McDonald’s
Contrary to what the title might suggest, this project is for the eponymous restaurateur to house its 30,000 square foot regional headquarters in Hong Kong – where a wire frame sculpture of Ronald McDonald himself greets all visitors who enter the premises.
The space occupies a little more than two floors of Dorset House in Quarry Bay and the design made liberal use of the colours and branding we are all so familiar with from McDonald’s outlets around the world.
These are incorporated in the materials, objects and even logos projected on the floor of the reception, as well as in translucent glass light baffles above the boardroom table.
