King’s Hill

Sai Ying Pun, a relatively unspoiled area of Hong Kong, elevated from the hustle and bustle of Central District, retains much of the territory’s former charm with its winding roads and older buildings. It appeals to a younger generation with a recent explosion of bars, restaurants and boutique stores alongside more traditional artisanal shops and markets.

King’s Hill, at the top of Western Street near the junction with Bonham Road, sits in the heart of Sai Ying Pun. The design responds to its context with a youthful interior abundant with bold colours, patterns and textures, an array of eclectic furniture and numerous cultural references from its immediate surroundings. At the street frontage, boldly lit at night, contemporary interpretations of traditional materials appear in wall surfaces and hanging sculptures. Appealing to the young professional, the clubhouse offers a variety of spaces to switch off and withdraw from the pressures of Hong Kong business life with lounges, function rooms, spa and gymnasium.
