In conjunction with their expanding operations in the Asia Pacific region, Vancouver-based Seaspan Corporation relocated to new premises on a high floor of AIA Tower in North Point.

The company’s important role as owners and managers of numerous container ships is evident even before entering the reception area, where a bright red, standard TEU (Twenty-Foot Equivalent Unit) container is strategically located to greet visitors and staff alike.

The container houses the firm’s café, and links the front-of-house conference rooms to the staff areas and large IT department. The substantially open-plan office features a photomontage of three ships on an oversized filing unit – lending a bit of colour and fun to this highly practical work space.
