Colliers International

The new Colliers International office at Central Plaza revised the normal image of how a property company should look. The atmosphere is cool and crisp, as a result of liberal helpings of bamboo flooring, indirect lighting and white marble walls, both polished and bush-hammered.

The design successfully knits together the two sides of this 57th floor premises by incorporating an open Café as the ‘elbow’ between the flanks, each with wonderful views to the harbour.

Egalitarianism reigns throughout. There are no private offices, rather, everyone including the Managing Director is at an open plan workstation relocated from the previous Colliers premises.

Meeting rooms and exhibition spaces are grouped at the front of the office where a raised floor has not been installed, to take advantage of the higher ceiling. Moveable walls at the Hong Kong room ensure that receptions and property launches can easily accommodate upwards of one hundred guests, when this space is completely opened up.
